Week 1 - Initial visit and 1st treatment
I have decided to try cell rejuvination. I am not being paid, but along with my mission in the business, I truly want to bring things to people that will help them.
I have decided to try cell rejuvination. I am not being paid, but along with my mission in life, I truly want to bring things to people that will help them. I do have it on my Facebook page, but I will have it here to make it easy to follow.
Thanks for reading and for all of your well wishes!
Hi everyone!
Here it is Sunday and I hope everyone did alright with all that cold weather we just had. I will say, I could not have picked a better time to start that treatment, preparing for the cold and taking care of the animals would have put me down for a few days with aspirin, ice and heating pads; not to mention just making everything worse!
I went for my interview and evaluation this past Wednesday, and I was impressed. The girls were very professional and extremely friendly, and as I had done a lot of research, all of my questions were answered, even the "weird ones".st to fill you in, there are a few steps to this. There is the laser at each visit. This reduces pain and inflammation and improves oxygen going to the area which helps it get ready for the injections. Then there are the injections. They are taken from you, yes, you. Nothing from donated cells or who knows where. One is plasma, then platelets, and there is a bone marrow taken. I think there is another step, but I forget and my notes are in the car. It's way too cold to go out now so I'll catch that up next time. Everything is not done at the same time so don't get too nervous about that. The samples are taken and processed, and then reinjected the same day. I was so anxious to begin, in fact I chose to start treatments right away. I could have begun right then, but I had a lot of things planned later on, and although it's supposed to help, I have tried enough things to know that sometimes it takes a bit so I didn't want to take any chances on being sore or laid up for a bit. Besides, it was only a couple of towns over, so no big deal.
I will say, it's not cheap, and it's not covered. Luckily I had been "saving for a rainy day", and my little emergency fund was going to get kicked into use. My treatment was to be $8000, so I made a downpayment and financed the rest with a 48 month agreement/ 12 month no interest. I will pay it in the 12 months because I despise paying interest. If something happens and I can't do it in 12 months, I will have it down enough so the interest won't be too huge. I do not anticipate an issue, but just when you don't think something will happen... well, you know.
The directions were great and the building was very easy to find. Some of the staff were the same girls I had seen the day prior, so it was quite nice to be familiar with them. I had loaded hay and done a lot of moderately heavy work after I saw them, so I was really in a great deal of pain and limping when I arrived. Sometimes it really is a chore just to stand, but back to it. Wednesday when they saw me, I had just gotten out of the chiropractor, so I was feeling pretty good, now they could see just what happens and why I am excited to try just about anything.
After doing all the paperwork, I was taken to the little room for the blood draw. I am not an easy stick, and this girl got me, first try, and I didn't even feel it. That alone is impressive! Then we went over to an exam room and since it's my SI joints with the problem, I laid on my stomach. The first thing she did was go give me a laser treatment. It is done at the beginning of each visit to help loosen up the area and get it ready for the injections. It does a lot of technical things, but for now, we can leave it at that. It was very comfortable and I really did not feel anything at all, but I could feel the area relaxing and some of the pain was dissipating. It didn't go away totally, but it was getting better, so that's a good thing. After a few minutes, stupid me didnt' time it, but it was maybe 3-5 minutes, she was finished and told me to relax a little bit while they finished getting the injection ready. I was free to get up and walk around, but I decided to just stay there and not mess with anything that the laser had helped. There are times I might be ok, then just getting up will send me to my knees.
I played some games on my phone, so I think it was about 10-15 minutes and she came back with the syringe. I didn't really notice if it was large or small, but this was it.
She cleaned the area with alcohol or something, then sprayed the freezer stuff on my lower back, then she wiped it again, and then "the JAB".
Now, I am not a baby, and I have a pretty good pain threshold but WOW. Now, it's not crazy painful, but it's that burny/painy/zingy kind of thing that although it hurts, it makes you laugh and OUCH at the same time. The good part, it only lasts about 2 seconds. That's it. So she said I would get my next appointment out front.
Now, I was in the office for about an hour. The first 30 minutes were the paperwork and all that, getting the partial payment done and whatever. The actual treatment time was about 30 min. I got my next appointment for a month, went to take the elevator downstairs, and when I got to the front door, I noticed.... I had absolutely NO PAIN.
Now, I have not been completely pain free in maybe 10 years. There was one day that my old chiropractor had an assistant that was trying everything on me, she took like an hour, and I had no pain that day for about, if I remember, it was maybe an hour or so. It doesn't take normal life very long to get all that irritation back. My muscles and tendons etc are so tight, it's a lot of guarding because of all the mess, which is what I am trying to fix. I digress...
Now, I was pretty impressed. They did say some people do walk out with a lot of improvement on the first visit. Guess I was lucky? But, now I had a car trip back home. It's only about 25 minutes, but that is enough in a car for me to know if this was just a temporary thing. If I am not moving, I pretty much freeze and turn into a fossil. However...
I got home.... no pain.
Did chores and things to get ready for the cold... no pain
I actually had an issue that I had to go up and down the hill a number of times, carrying weight... no pain
Climbed over a fence! ..... no pain
Shoot, do I learn.. nope.
Friday morning, I wake up, frigid weather coming, I should be aching to the heavens.... no pain.
Now, I am moderately amazed.
I will make it short, however with the cold there was hay, hot water for animals, chicken feed, carrying wood, all that cold weather stuff and still... no pain.
Absolutely amazing, and you know I was not being kind to myself.
This all carried on until Sunday morning. I woke up and my hip was a little sore. Not the back joint, but my hip. This is simple for me to figure out. The muscles are relaxing, I can feel it. I have a lot of arthritis in my hip and all the tight muscles that were protecting it, are not so tight anymore. This I can deal with, hot soaks will help. This is one thing that is definitely from the cold. (and if my back goes well, could be on my future plans for treatment, we'll see)
My next appointment is in a month but I will do updates every Sunday night so we can follow if things stay good, change or whatever happens. So far, I can't be happier, and I'm sure if it wasn't for this crazy mess of a cold snap and all the extra work it brought, I would be even better still.
I'll leave it at that for now.
Take care and talk with you next Sunday.
If you want to follow, leave me a message to add you because I no longer just add people from requests. Too many people are hacked and that fake thing comes, so just let me know and I will add you so you can find it.
Oh, Happy Valentine's!!

Here we are, it's been 10 days since my first injection.
If you read by blog, you have a good idea on knowing that, even though I try to be nice to myself... it never happens. It seems, something always happens, be it a nice day that is just perfect for 'cutting that tree', fixing the fence, or 'yes, lets go spread all that mulch while it's not frozen'.
Well, I still have no pain! I will say, last weekend would have put me in bed for a few days, and there were things I may not have been physically able to do prior to that treatment. Mind you, it was just the initial injection of plasma and not the stem cells yet, but it result is crazy amazing for me.
My guess is that it has reduced the inflamation so much that all of my "supporting team muscles" now have a break, because, I will tell you what is now happening.
For years I have joked, I am a fossile. My muscles are fossils, my tendons are fossils, I am tight, there is no other way to put it. Well, now there is. I said it last week. I think I have a lot of muscle guarding because of all this joint damage, and that leads to it being tight.
I have noticed:
I can walk up stairs like a normal person, not one at a time- Now I know, I need to work on strengthening my knees so both are strong, not just the one I always used.
I can pick up something I have dropped- No need to drop to a knee and struggle to try and stand again, hanging on to anything I could use to stand
My posture is improved - I no longer (or at least a lot less) walk like Grandpa McCoy. (I'm guessing you're old enough to know who he was)
Sounds weird, but I'm happy, My hips are sore!- I am using muscles I havent' in a long time. It's not a joint sore, it's sore muscles! 10 min heating pad and I'm good
I don't need the knee braces as much - I used them because they helped with back pain, now I know I can make them stronger! I can do the excersizes!
So, not the epistle of last week, but just a quick update so you see how the back is holding up.
As far as that goes, I could not be happier.
As far as how things go around here, check the blog, bring a tissue becasue it wasn't all good, but this really is a great life.
Take care and check for the update next Sunday.
Until next week, Happy Valentine's Day!!
God Bless and be safe!--Toodles~~~~~~~~~~

Hi there, update for the week and everything is great. I have only had a few tinges in my hips, but that isn't from the treatment, it's from the changes in my walking. Just a litle heat at night before bed, and just like a normal person, it's fine the next day. I am so not used to this, but I really can't wait for the next step.
I know this week is short, but it's a good thing, because I am not spending a lot of time on here complaining!!
So, all is good and happy day to everyone. Update next week and take care. Toodles~~~~~
